Preventous Cooperative Health is seeking a Certified Athletic Therapist (CAT(C)) to join our growing multidisciplinary team. Working alongside physicians, dietitians, kinesiologists, and other healthcare professionals, you'll help clients recover from injury, optimize performance, and achieve their long-term health goals in a collaborative, prevention-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and functional assessments
- Develop and implement evidence-informed treatment and rehabilitation programs
- Deliver hands-on therapy,
therapeutic exercise prescription, and injury prevention strategies
- Utilize therapeutic modalities including shockwave and laser therapy when clinically appropriate
- Perform fitness and functional movement assessments
- Educate clients on recovery, performance enhancement, and long-term injury prevention
- Collaborate with physicians, dietitians, kinesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop integrated care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Contribute to client education initiatives, workshops, newsletters, and community outreach opportunities
- Support an engaging, professional, and client-focused clinic experience
Qualifications
Required
- Certified Athletic Therapist designation (CAT(C))
- Member in good standing with the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association
- Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Athletic Therapy, or a related field
- Minimum three years of clinical experience
- Professional liability insurance
- Experience utilizing shockwave and laser therapy
- Excellent clinical reasoning and assessment skills
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment
Assets
- Experience working with active adults, athletes, and executive health clients
- Fitness assessment and exercise prescription experience
- Functional movement screening certification
- Strength and conditioning certifications
- Manual therapy certifications
- Exercise physiology or performance coaching experience
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $65,000-$70,000 annually In addition to competitive compensation, we offer:
