FOR HOMECARE CLIENT We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Health Care Aide to provide exceptional support and care to our residents. In this vital role, you will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and ensure a safe, comfortable workplace for seniors and individuals with disabilities. Your energy and positive attitude will help foster a nurturing atmosphere where residents feel valued and cared for.

Duties

- Assist residents with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
- Support patient care by monitoring health status, reporting changes, and helping with medication administration under supervision
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a warm and friendly environment
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and ensuring a hygienic environment
- Assist with mobility and transfer activities, including heavy lifting when required, to ensure safety during movement




- Support residents with activities of daily living, including toileting, dressing, and recreational activities

Experience

- Prior assisted living or nursing home experience is highly preferred
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is advantageous
- Knowledge of dementia care and hospice care practices is a plus
- Background in home care or caregiving roles demonstrates strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively in accordance with safety protocols
- Familiarity with medication administration procedures is beneficial but not mandatory; training can be provided
- Strong communication skills and patience are essential to succeed in this role
