We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child and Youth Care Practitioner to join our team in creating a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment for children and youth. Responsibilities

- Provide compassionate care and supervision to children and youth in various settings, ensuring their safety at all times
- Develop and implement engaging activities that promote learning, social skills, and emotional growth
- Support children with disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized assistance as needed
- Foster a positive environment that encourages open communication, respect, and trust
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to support each child's unique needs and goals
- Document observations, progress notes,



and incident reports accurately to track development and address concerns promptly
- Assist in teaching life skills, self-care routines, and behavioral management strategies

Qualifications

- Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to connect with youth through effective communication and empathy
- Knowledge of teaching methods or educational techniques that support child development
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and proactive in challenging situations
- Relevant certifications or training in child care or youth work are a plus but not mandatory
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s growth and well-being
