Duties

- Build trusting relationships with children and youth to promote their emotional and social development
- Plan and implement engaging activities that support learning, creativity, and personal growth
- Provide guidance and support during daily routines, helping children navigate challenges with confidence
- Monitor behavior and intervene appropriately to ensure a safe environment for all participants
- Collaborate with families, educators, and community partners to support each child's unique needs
- Maintain accurate records of activities, progress notes,



and incident reports
- Assist in creating inclusive programs that celebrate diversity and promote positive social interactions

Experience

- Prior experience working with children or youth in educational, recreational, or community settings is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively connect with children, families, and team members
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and proactive in dynamic situations
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices for supporting young people
- Certification in first aid and CPR, CPI, and VSC.

Pay: $24.50-$26.50 per hour

Expected hours: 1.0 – 35.0 per week
