Position: Child/Youth Support Worker

Condition: Full Time-6 hours/day

Hourly Rate: $20.83 - $27.08 / hr. - Dependent on Qualifications The Interlake School Division is seeking an energetic, positive, and dedicated Child/Youth Support Worker to provide individualized support to students who may be experiencing challenges within the school setting.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with school staff to support students in their academic, social, and emotional development. The ability to build positive relationships with students, work independently, and demonstrate flexibility in responding to student needs is essential.

Qualifications

Preference will be given to applicants who possess one or more of the following:

- Child and Youth Care diploma or certificate from Red River College Polytechnic, or an equivalent program;




- Early Childhood Education (ECE) diploma;
- University or college degree/diploma in a related field, such as Community Services;
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) or similar training; and
- Relevant experience supporting children and youth in educational or community settings.
