Overview

Join our energetic team as a Class 1 Driver in a full-time, permanent role that fuels our rigging and industrial services operations!

We are looking for individuals who are reliable, punctual, take pride in their work, and are willing to learn and grow in the industrial moving industry.

You must be experienced with one or more of the areas below:

As a key team member at Prime Movers, you’ll operate heavy-duty commercial vehicles with precision, professionalism, and enthusiasm. We’re committed to supporting your growth and providing a rewarding environment where your skills make a real impact every day.

What You'll Do

- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks to transport freight over short and long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load security
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or hand tools, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo
- Maintain accurate documentation for deliveries, including delivery manifests, logs, and inspection reports
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate pickups and deliveries
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts when necessary for loading or unloading cargo




- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor vehicle issues to minimize downtime

What You Bring

- Valid Class 1 driver’s licence
- Clean Driver’s Abstract
- Claims Experience Letter (for Class 1 licence) - proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation is required
- Certification in forklift operation is an asset
- Knuckle boom experience is an asset
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and safety protocols
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting on trucks
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and inspections
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks as required
