Cascadia Metals is actively seeking qualified candidates for the position of Class 1 Truck Driver. The successful candidate will be a driven team member, who shares our champion's mindset and values. This is a hands-on role where the candidate is expected to complete his tasks while providing support during your shift.

Employees must wear steel toe boots

Responsibilities:

- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations within your job function
- Ensure product integrity during transit
- Clean and maintain your company vehicle
- Representing Cascadia well to our customers
- Effectively problem solve any day-to-day issues
- Communicate with stakeholders and team members in a professional manner
- Must be able to fill out standard drivers' daily logbooks
- Filling out paperwork for incoming/outgoing materials
- Safety Protocols (Pre-trip Inspections)
- Daily trips only – No overnight trips.
- Shipping/receiving, loading/unloading trucks




- The equipment in it and the general maintenance of the property.

Skills/Qualifications:

- 3 or more years of experience
- Automatic Western Star Day cab with 48 ft step deck
- Hauling and tarping sheet metal skids coils and pipe.
- 10-year drivers abstract needed when applying

- Class 1 license with Air Brake certification
- Provide a clean driver abstract
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work independently and as a team
- Strong decision makingproblem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership skills
- Attention to detail and basic computer skills.
