Cleaner - Daycare & Preschool

We are looking for a reliable, thorough, and caring Cleaner to help keep our daycare/preschool clean, safe, sanitary, and welcoming for the children, families, and staff who spend their days with us.

Cleaning in a childcare environment is an important responsibility. Our ideal candidate takes pride in their work, and notices the small details.

You will play an important role in helping us provide a safe, healthy, and comfortable environment for young children to learn and play.

Responsibilities

- Sweep and moping floors.
- Clean and disinfectwashrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.

- Safety-conscious - you understand that proper cleaning and sanitation are especially important in a childcare setting.
- Hardworking and self-motivated - you can work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Trustworthy and professional - you understand the importance of working in an environment with young children and families.
- Comfortable performing physical tasks including standing, walking,



bending, reaching, lifting, and moving cleaning equipment or supplies.
- Able to work independently while communicating effectively with management and staff.
- Previous janitorial, custodial, commercial, hotel, healthcare, or childcare cleaning experience is an asset, but not required. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
- Someone with WCB.

Pay: $25.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2.0 – 3.0 per week
