We are hiring an experienced cleaner for a steady part time position at a building in Welland.

This position is best for someone who is reliable, has cleaning experience, and can work independently.

Job Details

Location: Welland

Hours: 13 hours per week

Schedule: 3 days per week

- Tuesday: 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
- Thrusday: 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
- Sunday: 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

What You’ll Be Doing You will be responsible for keeping the building clean, safe, and ready for staff and customers. Duties include:

- Floor duties: sweep and mop floors and stairs
- Empty trash and other waste containers
- Vacuum carpets and area rugs
- Clean, disinfect and polish bathrooms and kitchen fixtures
- Dust and polish desks, doors, and other items that require attention
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Follow all health and safety regulations

What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who:





- Has at least 1 year of commercial or residential cleaning experience
- Has their own transportation
- Has a valid driver’s licence
- Can provide a police check
- Can provide work and personal references
- Has anti-slip shoes
- Is bondable, responsible, and able to follow directions
- Can work with minimal supervision
- Is willing to commit to the position for at least one year

This is a physical job. You will be active throughout the shift and may need to bend, lift, push, and pull. Experience is required. Please apply only if you have previous cleaning experience and can commit to the full schedule.

Pay: $19.00 per hour
