Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support within a busy medical practice, ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent patient service. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in a skilled healthcare environment, with a focus on organisation, communication, and patient care.
Responsibilities would include
- Lab review , Lab results, work closely with physician
- Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in procedures
- Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow efficiently
- Clinical responsibilities such as summarising clinical letters
- Updating patient charts
- Immunization, injections and pap smears
- Assist clinician to perform procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Answer phone calls promptly and professionally, directing queries appropriately
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry,
and correspondence
- Support medical staff with preparing examination rooms and supplies management
- Ensure compliance with confidentiality and data protection regulations
- Assist in billing processes and processing payments as required
Requirements- International medical graduate ESSENTIAL - Clinical background
- Must be professional
.previous EMR experience
-previous doctors office experience preferably recent
Job Types: Full time, Permanent
Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
