We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading laser cutting machines with overhead crane to produce high-quality components while ensuring safety and efficiency in the production process. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor laser cutting machines to ensure optimal performance and quality output.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to accurately set up and execute cutting tasks.
- Perform routine maintenance on laser equipment, including cleaning and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Utilize forklifts, and cranes safely to move materials as needed within the facility.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience manufacturing environments is required
- Proficiency in operating overhead cranes is required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous.
- Familiarity with rigging techniques is beneficial for safe material handling.
