About the Position

Saturn Tool & Die (Windsor) Inc. is hiring a CNC Operator to support machining operations in our tool-and-die shop. The successful candidate will set up and operate CNC equipment, inspect machined components, and work with the team to meet quality standards and production schedules.

We are looking for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a consistent commitment to safe, accurate work.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up and operate CNC machines according to approved programs, setup instructions, and engineering drawings.
- Load, align, and secure workpieces; install cutting tools; and verify tool and work offsets before machining.
- Monitor machining operations, tool wear, and surface finish. Make adjustments within assigned responsibilities and report machining or equipment issues promptly.
- Inspect components using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and ensure parts meet specified tolerances.
- Work with programmers, toolmakers,



and supervisors to resolve machining issues and keep jobs progressing on schedule.
- Complete required production and inspection records, perform routine operator checks, and maintain a clean, organized work area while following safety procedures.

Qualifications
- Previous experience operating CNC equipment in a machining or manufacturing environment. Tool-and-die experience is an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and setup instructions.
- Working knowledge of cutting tools, workholding, machine offsets, and machining practices.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
- Solid problem-solving skills, dependable attendance, and the ability to work independently while communicating effectively with the team.
