Commercial Driver – Scaffold Logistics & Transport

Position: Full-Time, Permanent | Location: Regional Yard Operations | Reports to: Yard Operations Manager

At Unique Scaffold Inc., our commercial drivers are critical to operational integrity. A company driver's primary mission is the safe and efficient transport of scaffold materials. Drivers serve as the vital link in our supply chain and a direct representative of our commitment to safety and excellence. Operating in strict compliance with commercial regulations and internal safety policies is a mandatory condition of this role.

Licensing & Knowledge Requirements

Valid class 5 Drivers license and 5 year driving record

Physical Requirements





Sit and remain highly alert while driving for all required legal driving periods.

Bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull, and lift heavy scaffold equipment

(up to 70 lbs ), tools, and materials.

Climb onto flatbeds and trailers to check, secure, strap, and unstrap loads.

Maneuver heavy scaffolding materials on and off trailers manually as required.

Safely and correctly hook up trailers to company commercial vehicles.

Maintain a full range of motion, including reaching above shoulder level and bending at or below the waist.

Work Environment & Resilience

Our drivers operate in a dynamic, high-pressure, and demanding outdoor work environment. Successful candidates must show resilience to the following environmental realities:

Frequent exposure to extreme temperature shifts, variable outdoor weather, and wet/icy conditions.

Adaptability to irregular work schedules, long transit trips, short notices, and tight timelines.

Ability to manage the unique mental and physical stressors of operating large commercial vehicles in heavy city traffic, on high-speed highways, and within cramped, busy construction sites.

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
