The Opportunity: Commercial HVAC/Plumbing Estimator (Full-Time)

This is not a back-office role where your talent goes unnoticed. As a key member of Milani’s Commercial Division, you will help shape the success of commercial, institutional, and industrial mechanical projects across the Lower Mainland.

You will be trusted with meaningful responsibility, surrounded by an elite team, and supported by one of BC’s most recognizable service brands.

What You’ll Do

- Prepare detailed preliminary and final estimates using our proprietary estimating systems
- Complete on-screen takeoffs with precision and accuracy
- Analyze drawings, specs, and proposals to prepare high-quality bid packages
- Attend site meetings to gather field intel and collaborate effectively
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
- Lead all aspects of the bid cycle—from opportunity to submission
- Estimate labour, equipment, and material costs with confidence
- Review estimates prepared by other team members
- Think strategically and help develop winning bid strategies
- Maintain historical cost databases, contacts, and bid results




- Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure project success

What You Bring

- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Plumbing or HVAC Estimator
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and strategic thinking
- Ability to attend site meetings when required
- Hands-on trade experience in Plumbing and/or HVAC
- Red seal plumbing and gas ticket (preferred but not mandatory)
