Commercial Electrical Apprentice – Immediate Start

Spark Electrical Services is hiring an experienced Commercial Electrical Apprentice to join our growing team for an immediate start.

We’re looking for motivated apprentices who already have a solid foundation in commercial electrical work, take pride in what they do, and want to continue developing their skills while working on a variety of commercial projects.

Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of commercial electrical experience.

About the Role

As a Commercial Electrical Apprentice with Spark, you’ll work alongside experienced Journeymen, Lead Hands, and Foremen on commercial electrical projects.

This is a hands-on position for someone who understands the demands of a commercial job site, can work effectively as part of a crew, and is looking to continue building their skills and experience in the trade.

Responsibilities

- Assist with commercial electrical installations, rough-in, finishing, and service work
- Install conduit, cable, wiring, devices, fixtures, and electrical equipment
- Read and work from electrical drawings, plans, and specifications
- Follow direction from Journeymen, Lead Hands, and Foremen
- Complete assigned work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Work effectively alongside other electricians, apprentices, and trades
- Follow electrical code, site safety requirements, and company procedures
- Use tools, materials, and equipment responsibly
- Help maintain a clean, safe,



and organized job site
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and crew members
- Take initiative and continue developing technical skills
- Represent Spark professionally on our job sites

What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of commercial electrical experience required
- Registered Electrical Apprentice
- Solid understanding of commercial electrical installations
- Experience working from electrical drawings and plans
- Comfortable working with conduit, cable, devices, fixtures, and commercial electrical systems
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a crew
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Valuable communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to take direction while also showing initiative
- Someone who takes pride in their work and wants to continue progressing in the trade
