Jim Peplinski Capital (JPC) has been financing vehicles and equipment for Canadian businesses for more than 35 years. We are growing, and we are looking for a Commercial Lease Manager who wants to build their own book of business and get paid for what they create.

We combine capital, fleet expertise and technology to help businesses make better decisions about their vehicles and equipment.

The Role

This is a new-business, outside sales role. You’ll own the sales cycle from the first cold call through to the signed customer and handoff to onboarding.

You’ll be prospecting, asking for referrals, meeting customers and creating your own opportunities. You’ll spend your time with owners, CFOs and senior decision-makers, earning their trust, understanding their businesses and building solutions around what they actually need.

What You’ll Do

- Prospect, generate referrals and create current business opportunities.
- Get in front of owners, CFOs and other senior decision-makers.
- Understand each prospect’s business, fleet, financial requirements and growth plans.
- Identify opportunities to lower costs, reduce complexity and improve how customers finance and manage their vehicles and equipment.
- Build financing and fleet solutions around the customer’s business, not a template.
- Present recommendations, negotiate terms and close new business.
- Work with Credit, Customer Service and Asset Management to move customers through onboarding.
- Build long-term relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
- Manage your territory, pipeline and results.

What We’re Looking For You have 2+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in an outside sales or new-business role.



Experience in fleet, automotive, equipment finance, commercial banking or financial services is an asset, but not required. We can teach you our business.

- Can earn trust with owners, CFOs and senior executives.
- Ask good questions and understand how a customer’s business works.
- Can turn financial and operational information into a clear business case.
- Follow through, stay organized and take ownership.
- Are based in, or willing to be based in, the Greater Toronto Area.
- Have a valid driver’s license and are legally able to work in Canada.

First-year earning opportunity is $85,000–$115,000 while you learn the business and build your pipeline. Commission is uncapped, with established Commercial Lease Managers earning $200,000+.
