This TA posting is for the Master of Communications Management program, the timing of the academic Term 2269 (Fall 2026) for this program is as follows: October 11, 2026 – February 13, 2027

Skills, Qualifications, Abilities and Experience Required & Preferred: The following criteria will be taken into consideration: academic qualifications, teaching competence, ability to follow instruction, perform the various duties of the position, and previous satisfactory academic employment experience. To be considered for the position, applicants must hold an MCM, MBA or equivalent Master’s degree. Previous experience teaching in a professional program is also an asset.
Course Description
Accounting information is fundamental to business decisions. Managers are familiar with accounting systems and their potential for providing them with critical data and information about their organizations. Given this perspective, this course provides sufficient understanding of the accounting process and how to recognize the potential of accounting information to become a more effective manager. What accountants do and why they do it, not how they do it, is the focus.
