SpeechAim is looking for a passionate and dedicated Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA / SLPA) to join our growing team and provide in-home speech and language therapy services in the Brampton and Etobicoke areas.

What We Offer

- Primarily in-home sessions throughout Brampton, Etobicoke, and surrounding areas
- Option to provide both in-person and virtual therapy

- Regular collaboration with Speech-Language Pathologists and other CDAs/S-LPAs

Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language intervention to children, adults, and seniors under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Implement individualized treatment plans and therapy activities based on client goals




- Provide caregiver education and support to help families carry over strategies at home
- Prepare and provide home practice activities and recommendations
- Monitor client progress and communicate updates with the supervising SLP
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with applicable CASLPO standards and guidelines
- Collaborate with the supervising SLP and other members of the clinical team as needed

Requirements
- Graduate certificate in Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA), required
- Active or preferred membership with the Communicative Disorders Assistant Association of Canada (CDAAC)
- Experience working with a variety of client populations is an asset
- Strong interest in working with autistic individuals and other neurodiverse populations
- Reliable vehicle, valid driver's licence, and appropriate insurance for in-home travel
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a supervising SLP
- Multilingual proficiency is an asset but not required

This position primarily involves providing in-home services
