Role:

We require an experienced, knowledgeable, motivated and career-minded Estimator to be responsible for the accurate, timely preparation of full-cost estimates for projects, including materials and labour. Please only apply if you have relevant experience.

Ideal candidates for this job will have:

- Previous experience as a construction estimator ... IS A MUST.
- Knowledge of Windows based applications and ability to use CAD programs especially BLUEBEAM
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications electronically.
- Experience bidding on commercial and industrial projects is an asset.




- Diploma in Architecture Construction Engineering or equivalence is preferred.

Standard Job Duties:

- Preparing estimates for take-off to final pricing.
- Soliciting General Contractors and supplier quotations.
- Preparing and submitting tenders and proposals, negotiating.
- Maintaining historical cost data and preparing project budgets.
- Thoroughly review all project specifications/drawings in accordance with tendering protocols and deadlines.
- Identify and resolve all possible contentious or unclear specifications to help ensure bidding accuracy and timely project completion
