About the Role

Trust Contracting Company Inc. is looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Construction Purchasing & Project Coordinator to support our construction projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing, supplier and freight coordination, project organization, and quantity takeoffs from construction drawings using AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate purchasing activities for construction projects.
- Review construction drawings and perform accurate quantity takeoffs.
- Use AutoCAD to review drawings and assist with measurements and material quantities.
- Prepare material lists and determine project purchasing requirements.
- Request quotes and communicate with suppliers.
- Place orders and follow up on pricing, availability, and deliveries.
- Coordinate shipments and deliveries with freight companies.
- Organize and track purchases by project.
- Maintain accurate purchasing and project records.
- Address material, quantity, and delivery issues as needed.




- Work with project managers and internal teams to support project requirements.

Qualifications

- 2+ years of purchasing, construction, estimating, procurement, or related experience preferred.
- Experience reading construction drawings and performing quantity takeoffs.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD is required.
- Construction industry experience is an asset.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-up.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and other computer systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.

What We Offer

- $40,000–$55,000 per year, based on experience.
- Full-time Monday–Friday position.
