The Registered Practical

Nurse role is a contract position supporting those with responsive behaviors linked to mental health and other conditions. You will work collaboratively on a team, offering assessments, goal-directed care plans, and various counseling interventions. Your expertise in psychiatric nursing and geriatric issues will be pivotal in enhancing the quality of life for clients and their caregivers. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments using specialized tools
- Develop personalized, goal-oriented care plans for clients




- Implement interventions in individual and group settings
- Maintain thorough documentation of all clinical interactions
- Participate in educational and research initiatives Requirements:
- Registered Practical Nurse with current Ontario registration
- Minimum one year experience in mental health or geriatric care
- Knowledge of psychotropic medications and mental health legislation
- Bilingual in French/English considered an asset
