Join the team of Toronto's newest live music lounge and cabaret, DARLING GIRL.

We are looking for cooks to help prep/cook our delicious food.

Duties

- Prepare ingredients and assist with food assembly to support team in delivering quality dishes
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Follow food safety guidelines and handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Support cooking processes by assisting with basic meal preparation tasks
- Contribute to a clean, organized kitchen setting by adhering to cleaning schedules and protocols

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service, restaurant,



or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Experience with kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, or barista skills is a plus
- Customer service orientation with a friendly, positive attitude
- Reliable team player committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
