Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customs Rater to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for classifying import shipments according to customs regulations, and ensuring smooth clearance processes. You will help facilitate efficient freight handling and strengthen customer relationships while maintaining compliance with all relevant customs regulations.

Responsibilities

- Review and analyze shipment documentation to determine appropriate customs classifications and tariffs
- Build customer relationships by providing timely updates and support throughout the customs clearance process
- Enter data accurately into customs and freight management systems.
- Collaborate with freight forwarders, and trade service providers.




- Support daily office procedures and fellow employees as required

Requirements

- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a quick-paced environment
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite of programs

This position is on-site, full time 0800-1630 Monday to Friday. Joining our team, you will enjoy an inclusive, friendly, and flexible working environment.
