What to expect in your role as a Tim Hortons Delivery Receiver/Baker:

Truck Offloader/Receiver Responsibilities:

- Receive and unload inventory deliveries safely and efficiently.
- Lift, carry, and move boxes and supplies weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Organize and store inventory properly in back-of-house (BOH) storage areas.
- Check, organize, and rotate inventory as required.
- Stock required items in the front-of-house (FOH), production, and storage areas daily.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving and storage area.
- Work in cold environments such as freezers and refrigerators when receiving and storing products.
- Follow all food safety, workplace safety, and sanitation standards.

Baking/Food Preparation Responsibilities:

- Prepare and bake a variety of products according to Tim Hortons standards, including muffins, donuts, breads, eggs, sausages, and other baked products as assigned.
- Operate ovens, egg cookers, and other food preparation equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all showcase specifications are met.
- Prepare food items such as bagels, wraps, and sandwiches following proper food safety standards.
- Maintain proper food rotation and product quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all baking, food preparation, and restaurant equipment throughout each shift.
- Clean and maintain the production area and back-of-house areas on a daily basis.
- Maintain a clean Restaurant interior, exterior, parking lot, dining room, and restrooms as required.
- Work efficiently with a sense of urgency while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Support the restaurant team with other duties as assigned.

- Demonstrate a passion for hospitality and creating exceptional Guest experiences.
- Be able to work independently as well as part of a successful team.
- Be able to work under pressure while maintaining food safety and quality standards.
- Have valuable time management and organizational skills.
- Be physically able to unload deliveries and lift/carry boxes and supplies up to 25 lbs.
- Be comfortable working in cold environments such as freezers and refrigerators.
- Be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Be willing to learn how to operate ovens, egg cookers, and other restaurant equipment.
- Have a strong work ethic and be punctual, reliable, and responsible.
- Previous food service, bakery, restaurant, or warehouse experience is an asset.
- Have or be pursuing a post-secondary diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field is an asset but not required.
- Flexible availability is preferred, including early morning, daytime, or late-night shifts as assigned.
