Dental Hygienist – Sunday Position with Additional Days Available

We are looking for a friendly, skilled, and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our team for Sundays at our dental office. We also have potential opportunities available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for candidates interested in additional days.

We are looking for an RDH with the following attributes:

Responsibilities:

- Perform dental hygiene procedures including scaling, root planing, and polishing in accordance with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO) regulations
- Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Zoom Whitening
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention strategies
- Take dental radiographs as prescribed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and charting




- Collaborate with dentists and other team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Ensure all infection prevention and control protocols are strictly followed
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized clinical workplace
- Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with professional standards and practices

Collaboration and Teamwork:

- Work effectively with the team, including dentists, dental assistants, admins, and other dental hygienists
- Participate in team meetings
- Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled patients
- Respect fellow team members and their responsibilities
- Offer feedback and solutions contributing to the practice’s growth
- Develop skills to support other areas of practice operations
- Take responsibility for communication and actions
