Role Description
This position will support the digital print production and the distribution of PCNametag, Weprint, and Avery.ca.
Education, Skills and Competencies Required:
- Secondary School Graduate Diploma required
- 1+ years of warehouse experience
- 1+ years of production experience
- Experience with digital printers, paper cutters (digital and rotary), coaters & laminators
- Requires basic knowledge of Word & Excel
- Good understanding of colour matching and the ability to pass a colour test
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Positive data entry, measurement, inventory and math skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including overtime as required
- Strong problem solving / root cause analytical skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail skills
- Excellent time management skills, self-motivated, self-directed,
goal oriented individual who is comfortable working independently and who can handle and drive multiple deadline projects simultaneously in a fast pace environment
- Ability to build strong collaborative relationships & receive constructive feedback in a positive manner
- Must be able to work without supervision and in a team environment
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all orders are printed to the highest possible standards
- Pick & pack per customer order requirements
- Receive and putaway inventory in warehouses as required
- Assemble orders per work order specifications
- Ability to size, crop & colour correct images
- Operate and maintain specific production equipment to the highest standards.
o Printing presses o Laminators o Guillotines o Digital, rotary and other cutters
- Monitor & maintain kanban levels of raw materials required for printing, assembly and shipping of orders.
- Perform inventory counts & data material management, die maintenance and care
- Perform quality tests and inspections to ensure customer orders meet all quality standards
- Perform monthly preventative maintenance of equipment as assigned
- Back up Digital Print Specialist as required, including but not limited to coordinating daily workload
- Provide support in project work, other special requests and duties as assigned
- Consistently work in a safe manner concerning self, co-workers, and manufacturing systems.
- Perform general housekeeping tasks and waste removal incorporating 5S standards within the operations and other areas as required.

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
