Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and organized Dispatcher to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will coordinate the efficient movement of freight and shipments by managing communication between drivers, carriers, and warehouse staff. Your expertise in transportation management systems and supply chain operations will ensure timely deliveries and optimal resource utilization.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in streamlining logistics processes, enhancing customer satisfaction, and supporting overall business success.

Duties

- Minimum 6 months to 1 year of dispatch experience
- Experience handling CN and CP Rail terminal operations
- Ability to dispatch drivers and monitor container movements
- Knowledge of container pickups, deliveries, pre-pulls and empty returns




- Robust communication skills with drivers, customers and terminal personnel
- Ability to manage multiple work orders and urgent delivery requirements
- Good computer, email and data-entry skills
- Must be organized, responsible and able to work independently
- Must be available to work on weekends
