Rajput Driving School Windsor, founded in 2017, is dedicated to building confident and skilled drivers. All of our instructors are certified by the Ministry of Transportation and bring extensive practical experience, covering everything from basic vehicle operation and traffic laws to advanced defensive driving, collision avoidance, and emergency maneuvers. Safety is a core priority, with dual-brake vehicles and a combination of online classes and in-car lessons designed to build skills and confidence.
Our students pass at a 98% rate, and they consistently mention the patience and calmness of our instructors.
Role Description
Part-time employee, $25 per hour, based in Windsor, ON. You will drive one of our dual-brake Toyota Corollas. We pay for the car, roof sign, insurance and gas. Up to 6 hours of teaching a day, depending on your availability.
We also need someone who can take a last-minute lesson when nobody else is free. You will teach learners at every level, from nervous first-timers to experienced drivers polishing for the G2 or G test: safe vehicle operation, road rules, traffic laws, defensive driving, and honest progress checks. You will keep the lesson records the MTO requires, give students plain and calm feedback, and coordinate with the office on schedules and bookings.
Qualifications
- An Ontario driving instructor licence, or eligibility to get one: a full G licence held 4 or more years,
zero demerit points, no suspension in the past 2 years, and the ability to pass a criminal record check.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Clear, spoken English. Bonus if you can speak a second language commonly spoken in Windsor.
- Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm and supportive under pressure.
- Strong commitment to safety, professionalism, punctuality, and ethical conduct.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
Duties
- Conduct engaging and informative driving lessons tailored to each student’s skill level and learning style
- Assess students’ driving abilities through practical evaluations and provide constructive feedback
- Prepare students for licensing tests by teaching traffic laws, safety procedures, and vehicle handling techniques
- Maintain detailed records of each lesson, progress reports, and assessments to track development
- Ensure all vehicles used for instruction are well-maintained, mechanically sound, and compliant with safety standards
- Demonstrate proper vehicle operation including clutch control, steering, braking, and maneuvering in various traffic conditions
- Communicate clearly with students to build confidence, clarify instructions, and promote safe driving practices
