Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Early Childhood Assistant to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will support lead educators in creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and caregiving skills will help lay a strong foundation for children’s early development and learning.

Duties

- Implement daily activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Support children with their routines, including mealtime, diapering or toileting, and rest periods
- Engage children in play-based learning experiences that encourage curiosity and exploration
- Observe and document children’s progress, behaviors, and interests to inform teaching strategies
- Foster positive relationships with children by providing attentive care and encouragement




- Maintain a clean, organized classroom setting that adheres to health and safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute age-appropriate educational activities

Requirements

- Prior classroom experience working with young children in an early childhood setting
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and caregiving practices
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Demonstrated patience, compassion, and enthusiasm for working with children
- Relevant certifications in caregiving or early childhood education are preferred but not mandatory
- Commitment to creating an inclusive environment that supports diverse learning needs

Pay: $20.60 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
