About Us
We are a licensed child care program dedicated to providing high-quality early learning and care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Our program is guided by Alberta’s Early Learning and Child Care Act and the FLIGHT: Alberta Early Learning and Care Framework, ensuring children thrive in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate, play-based programs that promote children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues through open and respectful communication.
- Ensure the safety, supervision, and well-being of children at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
- Document children’s learning, development, and experiences through portfolios and daily communication with families.
- Collaborate with the team to create inclusive strategies that support children of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
Qualifications
- Alberta Early Childhood Educator Level 1, 2 or 3 certification (required).
- Valid Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
- Valid Child Care First Aid Certification (must be maintained current).
- Strong knowledge of Alberta’s licensing requirements and early learning best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to mentor and guide educators at Level 1 and 2.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $15.00-$22.00 per hour
