Job Overview
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators at Level 2 and Level 3 to inspire, nurture, and educate young children in a vibrant learning environment. In this role, you will create engaging activities that promote developmental growth, foster positive relationships with children and families, and support inclusive education practices. Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of children
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming workplace for children of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Collaborate with colleagues and families to support individualized learning plans and address specific needs, including those related to disabilities or special education requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation of children's progress, attendance, and daily activities
- Support children's transitions between activities and routines with patience and leadership
- Use effective communication skills to build strong relationships with children, families, and team members
- Operate classroom equipment responsibly and ensure cleanliness and safety standards are consistently met
Skills
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of French is a plus for bilingual environments
- Strong understanding of childcare principles, early childhood education practices, and special education needs
- Experience working with children, including those with disabilities or special needs
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues
- Ability to manage time efficiently while balancing multiple responsibilities in a dynamic setting
- Leadership qualities to guide children’s activities confidently and foster positive behavior
- Competent in computer skills for documentation, communication, and classroom management software
- Organizational skills to plan lessons, track progress, and maintain orderly classroom environments
