Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Echocardiographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing echocardiograms to assist in diagnosing and monitoring heart conditions. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and excellent patient care skills, as you will interact with patients to ensure their comfort and understanding throughout the procedure.

Responsibilities

- Perform echocardiograms, including transthoracic and transesophageal studies, following established protocols.
- Analyze and interpret echocardiographic data to provide accurate assessments of cardiac function.
- Maintain patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and contribute to patient care plans.
- Educate patients about the echocardiogram process, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.




- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated for optimal performance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures at all times.

Requirements

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- Certification as an Echocardiographer (e.g., RDCS, RCS) is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach towards patient care.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Job Types: Full-time, Casual Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
