Electrical Control Panel Builder / Assembly Technician

Novatec Innovative Solutions Ltd. is looking for an Electrical Control Panel Builder / Assembly Technician to join our team in Langley, BC.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and wiring industrial electrical control panels used in our heating and automation equipment.

Main Responsibilities:

- Install electrical components inside control panels, including breakers, contactors, relays, SSRs, PLC/I/O modules, power supplies, terminal blocks, disconnects and related hardware
- Read and follow electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and panel layouts
- Complete control and power wiring
- Perform point-to-point wiring checks, continuity testing and basic electrical troubleshooting
- Assist with final wiring and integration of control panels with industrial equipment
- Maintain neat, organized and professional panel wiring standards
- Assist with equipment testing before shipment

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in electrical control panel assembly, industrial wiring, machine wiring or a related field
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
- Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Comfortable using electrical hand tools and test equipment




- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience with industrial automation components such as Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs and control hardware is an asset
- CAD or electrical CAD drawing knowledge is considered an asset
- Electrical or automation-related education is an asset but not mandatory for candidates with relevant hands-on experience

Compensation: $27–$30 CAD/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys building industrial equipment and takes pride in clean, accurate electrical work.
