Role Description The Employment Lawyer will provide legal advice and representation on a broad spectrum of employment and labor issues in a full-time, hybrid role. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and reviewing employment contracts and policies, advising on workplace rights and obligations, and managing files related to wrongful dismissal, discrimination, harassment, and workplace investigations. The role involves preparing pleadings and submissions, appearing before employment tribunals and courts,



negotiating settlements, and participating in mediation.

The Employment

Lawyer will also support client counseling on compliance with employment standards and labor regulations, contribute to firm knowledge resources, and work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality legal services.

Qualifications - At least 3+ years of experience in Labor and Employment Law.

- Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
- Excellent analytical, research, and oral/written advocacy skills, with strong attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to manage multiple files, meet deadlines, and communicate complex legal concepts clearly to clients.
- Experience in client development, relationship management, and a commitment to ethical, inclusive practice.
- Experience in personal injury litigation is an asset.
