POSITION OVERVIEW:
- Perform repair, maintenance, servicing, and rebuilding of engines and mechanical components;
- Diagnose mechanical defects and determine the required maintenance or corrective actions;
- Replace, adjust, or repair faulty or worn components;
- Test and inspect equipment to ensure proper operation following maintenance or repairs;
- Plan and carry out scheduled and preventive maintenance activities on equipment;
- Support and assist other mechanics when required;
- Perform all work in compliance with applicable health and safety regulations;
- Complete maintenance reports, work orders, and other required documentation;
- Contribute through a positive attitude to a safe, professional, and collaborative work environment.
YOU ARE THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR IF:
- You hold a Vocational Diploma or Certificate in mobile equipment mechanic fields or equivalent practical experience;
- You have two (2) to (5) years of relevant experience;
- You have relevant experience in mechanical maintenance and a strong willingness to learn and develop new skills;
- You possess string knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and basic computer systems is considered an asset.
