This position will develop an online version of the following course: ENGL 110 Critical Reading and Writing II A study of a special topic in literature, which may include non-literary texts, in conjunction with a continuation of the writing program begun in ENGL 100.

Position Requirements

- Applicants with MA in English is required.
- Proven ability in the teaching of online courses at the University of Regina is required.
- Proven ability teaching courses in English is required.
- Previous experience teaching ENGL 110 is required.
- Previous collaboration with Flexible Learning and Instructional Design Team at CCE is preferred.
- Previous experience navigating the use of Gen AI for the online teaching environment is preferred.
- Applicants must have operational understanding of UofR’s current AI use policies and will submit 1 page summary of this background and understanding as well as an example of a recently taught class that demonstrates their AI/Generative AI expectations.

Physical Demands Pay Grade Faculty Sessional Salary Range As per URFA Collective Agreement Status Term Work Hours WEB Course The start date of this position is October 1, 2026

This course will be delivered in Fall 2027 semester.
