About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy equipment to support construction, excavation, landscaping, material handling, or other site operations.

This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, follows safety procedures, and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, skid steers, bulldozers, and other machinery as required.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety issues.
- Safely load, move, and handle materials according to job requirements.
- Follow site plans, instructions, and established operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Assist with general labour and site activities when required.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and housekeeping.
- Follow all company health and safety policies and applicable regulations.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and other site personnel.
- Complete work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality and safety.

Qualifications





- Previous experience operating heavy equipment preferred.
- Valid operator certification or training for applicable equipment.
- Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
- Valid driver's licence is an asset.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Good communication, reliability, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to perform physical duties associated with the position.
- Construction, excavation, roadwork, landscaping, or industrial experience is an asset.
