OGGI is a vibrant Italian restaurant known for exceptional food, warm hospitality, and memorable private events. From intimate family celebrations and milestone birthdays to corporate dinners, weddings, and large-scale gatherings, we pride ourselves on creating experiences that bring people together.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and personable Events Coordinator to join our team and help make every event from the initial inquiry to the final guest departure exceptional.

The Opportunity

As our Events Coordinator, you will be the primary point of contact for clients planning private events at our restaurant. You will manage the event planning process, build solid relationships with guests, coordinate with our internal teams, and ensure every detail is executed seamlessly.

The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a quick-paced hospitality environment, has excellent communication skills, enjoys working with people, and has a genuine passion for creating memorable experiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Respond to private event inquiries and conduct venue tours when required.
- Communicate with clients throughout the planning process, from initial inquiry through event completion.
- Understand each client's vision, needs, budget, and expectations.
- Prepare proposals, event packages, contracts, invoices, and event details.
- Coordinate menus, beverage selections, room layouts, décor, entertainment, and other event requirements.
- Maintain accurate event calendars, client files, deposits, payments, and timelines.
- Work closely with the kitchen, management, service team, and other departments to ensure events are properly planned and executed.
- Create detailed event sheets and communicate all important information to the restaurant team.
- Coordinate event setup, execution, and breakdown to ensure a smooth guest experience.




- Act as the primary onsite contact for clients during events.
- Anticipate guest needs and resolve issues quickly, professionally, and calmly.
- Follow up with clients after events to gather feedback and encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Assist with generating new private event business through outreach, networking, partnerships, and community relationships.
- Help promote the restaurant's private dining and event offerings through social media, email, and other marketing initiatives.
- Meet or exceed private event sales and revenue targets.

What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in event coordination, hospitality, restaurants, catering, hotelsated field., or a rel
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- A polished, friendly, and professional personality.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting where priorities can change quickly.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Sales-minded with the ability to confidently discuss menus, packages, pricing, and upgrades.
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and/or event management software is an asset.
- A passion for hospitality, food, and creating exceptional guest experiences.
- Italian language skills are an asset but not required.
