**SEEKING EXPERIENCED FOOT CARE NURSES ONLY

**MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL TO APPOINTMENTS THROUGHOUT OTTAWA

(Foot care experience and where you received your foot care certificate must be on resume to be considered for this position)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced mobile Foot Care Nurse to join our healthcare team, providing specialized foot care services to a diverse patient population. In this vital role, you will deliver comprehensive foot assessments, treatment plans, and education to promote optimal foot health. Your expertise will support patients across various settings, including nursing homes, hospitals, assisted living facilities, and home care environments.

Duties

- Conduct thorough foot assessments, including skin integrity, circulation, sensation, and structural abnormalities
- Develop and implement individualized foot care plans tailored to each patient’s needs
- Perform treatments such as wound care, toenail trimming, callus removal, and diabetic foot management
- Educate patients and caregivers on proper foot hygiene, injury prevention, and self-care techniques




- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care, including medication administration and pain management strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, assessments, and patient progress using electronic health records systems
- Assist with referrals for specialized services when necessary

Qualifications

- Valid nursing license with current registration in Ontario
- Proven experience in nursing foot care with proof of education
- Strong background in dementia care, senior care and home settings
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations
