Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze the requirements and information necessary to specify, design, manufacture, and deliver Laboratory Test Means (LTM) and/or flight test equipment for test aircraft.
- Ensure close coordination with various engineering functions to guarantee seamless integration of test means while fully complying with internal processes and QCDP objectives (Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Performance).
- Define technical specifications and test means architecture, lead the selection of industrial suppliers (when required), and manage outsourced project activities.
- Manage the configuration of aircraft equipment installed on test means, ensure compliance with Export Control requirements, and oversee inbound and outbound logistics for associated materials and equipment.
- Lead the financial and operational lifecycle of projects, including budgeting, planning, procurement and tendering processes, production follow-up,
and change management during execution.
- Coordinate end-of-cycle engineering activities, including preparation of verification procedures, validation of components and test means, commissioning, and preparation of technical documentation.
Required Profile
- Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in aerospace or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of flight test system installation and design, test benches, and detailed design practices, including sheet metal, machined parts, welding, piping, and component assembly, as well as engineering procedures, drafting standards, cost management, and scheduling.
- Good working knowledge of CATIA V5R21 or later, ENOVIA, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace tools.
- Energetic professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of achieving results in a rapid-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Strong sense of commitment, willingness to take ownership and work independently, and ability to collaborate effectively with partners and suppliers.
- Bilingualism in French and English, both spoken and written, is considered an asset.
