Enhance family stability as a Family Support Worker at PALS, providing intensive in-home support to families in need. Drive positive changes by developing tailored family support plans. PALS is seeking a Family Support Worker to deliver critical services to families at risk of child welfare involvement.
In this full-time role, you will assess family needs, provide interventions, and facilitate access to community resources. Your work will directly impact the well-being and security of families facing challenges like poverty and violence. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide intensive weekly in-home support to families in need
- Gather client information to address risks and needs
- Develop individualized action plans with explicit goals
- Conduct educational sessions related to family dynamics
- Maintain accurate records and report on client progress Requirements:
- Degree in social work with one-year experience
- Experience with urban family challenges
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications
