Farm Labour Supervisor (Foreman/Woman)

Full Time

Monday to Saturday 8:00am to 5:00 pm $24.00 hourly

Job Responsibilities

The following are general guidelines designed to provide a fundamentalunderstanding of responsibilities and how to fulfill them. Orientation andtraining will be provided.

Coordinate, assign and supervise farm workers

Assist with growing and other crop related operations

Train farm workers

Ensure farm safety/food safety procedures are followed

Maintain quality control and production records

May perform general farm duties

Assist with and operate general farm equipment and maintenance ofequipment and tools

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

College or diploma program or equivalent

2 years' experience in a greenhouse workplace

Physical Abilities

Able to lift heavy material (up to 23 kg/50lbs)





Able to climb and stand on feet for extended period of time

Work in temperature-controlled environment of approximately 25C

Must be able to bend, twist, stretch or reach with body, arms and /or legs
