RADON ENVIRONMENTAL

Finance Manager

Location: Greater Vancouver, British Columbia – Primarily Remote

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Position

Radon Environmental is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Finance and Inventory Manager to oversee key financial, administrative, inventory, order-processing, and fulfillment functions of the business.

This is an important hands-on role for someone who enjoys taking ownership of a broad range of responsibilities and working independently in a small-business environment. The successful candidate will serve as a central point of coordination among our customers, suppliers, warehouse, management team, and external accounting service.

The position requires strong attention to detail, comfort working with financial and inventory information, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting Administration

- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial administration using QuickBooks Online.
- Prepare and process customer invoices and maintain accurate customer account records.
- Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable administration.
- Reconcile transactions and maintain accurate supporting documentation.
- Coordinate closely with the Company's external accounting service and provide information required for monthly and year-end reporting.
- Assist management with financial, sales, inventory, and operational reporting as requested.

Inventory & Warehouse Management

· Maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory records and reconcile inventory activity with QuickBooks and other Company records.

· Monitor inventory levels and help identify replenishment requirements.

· Maintain appropriate records of products received, shipped, transferred, returned, or otherwise adjusted.

· Conduct periodic physical inventory counts at the Richmond warehouse, currently anticipated approximately quarterly, and reconcile physical counts to Company records.

· Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.

· Assist management in improving inventory-control, purchasing, and fulfillment procedures as the Company grows.

General Operations

- Maintain organized electronic records for orders, invoices, purchases, inventory, shipping, and other operational activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative and operational processes.
- Prepare periodic reports for management.
- Perform other financial, administrative, and operational duties as required.

Qualifications & Experience The ideal candidate will have:

- 3 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping, accounting administration, inventory management, order fulfillment, office operations, or a similar role.
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online; strong QuickBooks experience is highly preferred.
- Experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, purchase orders, and basic financial reconciliation.
- Experience managing or reconciling physical inventory.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional and customer-focused approach.
- The ability to work independently, establish priorities, and meet deadlines.

- A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of problems through resolution.
- Experience in a product, distribution, e-commerce, warehouse, or small-business environment would be an asset.
- Ability to travel periodically to the Richmond, BC warehouse.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who sees this as more than an administrative position. The right person will become an important part of the day-to-day operation of Radon Environmental and will take pride in making sure that orders are processed correctly, customers are taken care of, invoices and financial records are accurate, inventory is accounted for, and products are shipped on time.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a relatively independent workplace and will know when to solve an issue directly and when to bring it to management's attention.

What We Offer

- A key role within an established and growing company.
- A high degree of independence, responsibility, and ownership.
- Primarily remote work with limited required local travel.
- A diverse position involving finance, inventory, operations, and customer interaction.
- Competitive compensation based on experience.
- Vacation and paid time off.
