Job Summary

We are seeking energetic and dedicated Fulltime and Parttime Baristas to join our vibrant team. As a Barista at Finch & Midland, you will be the face of our brand, delivering outstanding customer service while preparing and serving a variety of delicious beverages. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food and beverage service within a rapid-paced, friendly environment that values enthusiasm and professionalism.

Duties

- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including tea, coffee, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and care
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling
- Ensure all food handling and preparation meet food safety standards and hygiene regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers warmly and addressing their needs promptly




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain swift service without compromising quality
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas in accordance with health standards
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness

Qualifications

- Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Good time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, giving accurate change, and managing transactions
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
