We are a growing fire-safety inspection company looking for an experienced Service Sprinkler Fitter or Fire Protection Technician to join our team.

This is a field-based position focused on the inspection, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of fire suppression systems. The successful candidate should be comfortable working independently at commercial, residential, industrial, and institutional properties throughout the Lower Mainland.

Our service area includes Coquitlam, Richmond, West Vancouver, and surrounding communities. Work is performed on-site Monday through Friday.

Schedule

- Full-time
- Monday to Friday
- Work performed at customer locations throughout the Lower Mainland
- Occasional early starts may be required based on site access and testing requirements
- Occasional overtime or emergency service may be available

Responsibilities
- Inspect, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair water-based fire suppression systems
- Complete annual, quarterly, monthly, and other scheduled sprinkler-system testing
- Perform partial-flow and full-flow trip testing on dry sprinkler systems
- Conduct fire department connection testing and other required system tests
- Test wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, standpipe, and related fire suppression systems
- Perform main-drain tests, alarm tests, waterflow tests,



valve inspections, and other required procedures
- Identify deficiencies, system impairments, damaged components, and potential safety concerns
- Diagnose leaks, pressure issues, valve problems, freeze damage, and system failures
- Repair and replace sprinkler piping, fittings, valves, sprinkler heads, gauges, and other system components

Required Qualifications
- ASTTBC WA endorsement for water-based fire suppression systems
- Previous service, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair experience
- Practical experience conducting partial-flow and full-flow trip tests
- Experience testing fire department connections and water-based fire suppression systems
- Solid knowledge of wet, dry, pre-action, and related sprinkler systems
- Ability to diagnose and complete sprinkler piping and system repairs
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple service appointments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation
- Professional communication and customer-service skills
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Ability to lift equipment, climb ladders, and work in mechanical rooms, parkades, rooftops, and other service environments

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
