We are seeking a passionate and creative Floral Designer to bring beauty, artistry, and freshness to 37 year old family ran flower store. In this vibrant role, you will craft stunning floral arrangements and designs that delight customers and elevate their special moments. Your expertise will help create memorable experiences through expertly designed bouquets, centerpieces, and custom floral displays.
Responsibilities
- Design and assemble a wide variety of floral arrangements, including bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, and event displays, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.
- Assist customers in selecting flowers and plants that meet their needs and preferences, providing expert advice on floral care and design ideas.
- Maintain the freshness and appearance of all floral products through proper handling, storage, and rotation techniques.
- Support landscape maintenance tasks around the store or garden areas to enhance visual appeal and customer experience.
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering duties,
and e-commerce sales processing.
- Organize floral displays and merchandising to attract customers and promote seasonal or promotional items effectively.
- Communicate clearly with team members to ensure smooth operations, from inventory management to customer service excellence.
- Keep the workspace organized, clean, and safe by adhering to organizational standards and horticultural best practices.
Experience
- Prior experience in floral design or related horticultural fields such as gardening or landscape maintenance is preferred.
- Experience with retail sales environments, including cashiering and POS systems.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer needs effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to engage customers confidently and collaborate with team members seamlessly.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
