Duties

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and efficient processing
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including food handling and kitchen prep zones
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff and ensure timely service
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently without compromising quality
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure guest safety and compliance with health regulations




- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of the food industry standards
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering functions
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures in accordance with health regulations
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and transaction management
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus, supporting seamless service delivery
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and increase revenue
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact positively with guests
- A background in hospitality or the food industry is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
