Join our agile hospitality team as a Food & Beverage Server at Otter Creek Golf Club! In this role, you’ll help create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our golfers and guests by providing friendly, efficient, and professional food and beverage service.

We’re looking for someone who is energetic, dependable, personable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You’ll have the opportunity to build your hospitality and customer service skills while working in a fun golf-course atmosphere.

Whether you have previous serving experience or are looking to gain experience in the food and beverage industry, we’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to provide great service.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and enthusiastically, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using a POS (Point of Sale) system.
- Provide guests with knowledgeable and friendly service, including answering questions about menu items, beverages, and specials.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Proactively upsell food and beverage items when appropriate to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address questions, concerns, or special requests in a professional and positive manner.
- Maintain clean and organized service areas, tables, patios, and other guest spaces throughout the shift.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible service procedures.
- Restock food, beverages,



condiments, supplies, and other service items as needed.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and other Food & Beverage staff to ensure smooth and productive service.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning, restocking, and preparing service areas for the next shift.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude while representing Otter Creek Golf Club.
- Perform other duties as required to support the Food & Beverage operation.

Requirements

- Previous food service, serving, bartending, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to work efficiently and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to completing tasks.
- Willingness to learn and follow food safety, sanitation, and service procedures.
- Comfortable learning and using a POS system; previous experience is an asset.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with food and beverage service.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Smart Serve & Food Handlers certifications are an asset (or willingness to obtain one).
- Previous experience working in a golf course or knowledge of golf is an asset but not required.

Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
