Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Serve customers with a friendly attitude, upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and change giving
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the truck’s kitchen and serving areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and food delivery
- Assist in food inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Skills
- Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Excellent time management skills to handle fast-paced service periods efficiently
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in an outdoor mobile setting
- Enthusiasm for upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities
