LSR Contracting is a family run residential contracting company based in Saskatoon. We build decks, fences, garages, and do framing work for homeowners and for builders around the city and out to about 80 km.

We're small on purpose, and we care about doing the work right. Our tagline is "Quality Built. Never Rushed." — that's not marketing, that's how we run our jobs.

We're looking for one person to join us and grow into the trade.

What you'd be doing

- Framing walls, floors, and roofs
- Building decks, fences, and garages
- Working off ladders and scaffold — you need to be comfortable at heights
- Site setup, material handling, and cleanup
- Learning the trade properly, on site, from the owner

Who we're looking for

- Zero to two years of construction experience. Some experience is preferred, but attitude matters more than a résumé.
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Shows up on time, every day, ready to work.
- Willing to learn and take direction.
- Physically able to handle the work — lifting, ladders, and long days outside.
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to get to the shop or the job site.

What we offer





- $18–$23/hour to start, based on what you bring
- A wage review at 90 days — if you're earning it, your rate goes up
- Tool allowance after 90 days to get you set up with your own gear
- Work through the winter, not just the busy season
- Hands-on training from the owner. You'll learn framing, deck work, and finish work properly — not just be handed a broom.
- A small crew where your work actually gets noticed

Being straight with you about winter We do work year-round, and we don't do seasonal layoffs. That said, hours in January and February aren't always the same 40+ you'll see in the summer — weather is weather. We'd rather tell you that up front than surprise you in the recent year.
